Sypnosis[]

When Francine’s adoptive parents stop by for an unannounced stay, Stan is furious that they refuse to assimilate to his “man of the house” ways. After he unsuccessfully tries to give them the boot, he is convinced that finding Francine’s birth parents will change things. While Stan finds Francine's birth parents, he can't convince Francine to meet them. So Stan goes through her adopted parents' things and finds their will in which everything is given to their biological daughter, Gwen.

Francine, devastated by this news, kicks her adoptive parents out and agrees to meet her birth parents. Stan then finds out that her birth parents gave her away with no care so they could ride first class on a plane. While this makes Stan uncomfortable, he still wants them. However, Klaus isn't fooled and warns him to get rid of Nicholas and Cassandra at once. When Stan tries to argue against it, he points out that he's setting Francine up to be hurt by them. That she's better off with her loving adoptive parents. Soon the house is set ablaze and Stan sees Nicholas and Cassandra for who they are inside. They don't help him out, due to insurance and their own need for survival. Baba comes back and saves Stan from the blaze. He apologizes for not respecting Stan's house rules, mainly due to his and Mama's distraction with Gwen. He asks why they left Francine out of their will. Baba explains it's Chinese customs to give the money to the child who need the most help. He reveals that they chose Gwen to inherit their money. Baba tells Stan that he and Mama often wished she was more like Francine. To them, Gwen is a huge disappointment in their eyes despite her attractive appearance. She's a moron, very promiscuous, terrible with math and failed high school. Because of this, Baba knows she will need a lot of help when he and Mama die. Whereas, Francine is their smart and talented daughter. Both Baba and Mama are proud of the woman she has become, she married fine with Stan and doesn't need their money. This convinces Stan to accept Francine's adoptive parents and to get the couple and their daughter back together. Despite Nicholas and Cassandra's attempts to bribe him with money and a horse, he sends both on their way out.

Minor plot[]

Baba brings Steve fireworks, which he uses to try and attract Lindsey Coolidge who is turned on by reckless behavior. He ends up getting his thumb blown off, and all the kids abandon him. At the end when the house burns down Roger leaves him for the ambulance where he gets his thumb reattached. Lindsey comes by to let him feel her breasts, but his hand is numb(due to the anesthesia) and he can't feel anything.
