During the episode Less Money, Mo' Problems, Stan is so down on his luck that he steals shoes off of the manager at Kel's Good Burger. Later, while trying to sell the stolen shoes, Stan is pursued by the Shoe Police. At the end of the episode, there is a promo for a (fake) new crime drama on FOX, Shoe Police.
Shoe Police stars Elisabeth Shue as Detective Lacey Sole. It also features a talking Doc Martens boot as the cigarette-smoking Dr. Martin. The corpse on the table kind of looks like AD co-creater Matt Weitzman.
